When measuring something new, often the hardest question is the first one: What is the most informative way to measure this?
This session boils down the basics of “ways to measure things” into something informative and actionable. We’ll discuss ways things can go wrong, how improved communication, collaboration, and open feedback between analysts and end-users help prevent setbacks, and the specifics of some of the most helpful analyses.
We will deep-dive into a few of our favorite ways to measure things like:
- Cohort analysis: how do you define your groups?
- Sequencing: do attributes of the first order affect subsequent orders? - Probability: how likely is a user to by x if they bought y?
